(Parker County, Tx) – Kennedale Police Captain Darrell Hull has decided to throw his hat in the ring for the Parker County Sheriff.
The 47-year-old Hull grew up in Parker County, attended Weatherford ISD schools and still lives in the county, although he’s currently employed at Kennedale PD. Hull started his career in law enforcement in 1993 as a Springtown. Hull tells the Weatherford Democrat “I think a lot of people in Parker County are looking for change, I think they desire change and I think I can be that.”
At 81, current Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler has announced he will seek another term. Earlier this month, Parker County resident Joe Hobbs, age 50, announced his intention to run for Sheriff. All three candidates will be running as Republicans in the March 3rd primary election.
