(Lajitas, TX) — A statue of General Robert E. Lee has a new home in west Texas, two years after being removed from Lee Park in Dallas.
A Dallas-based law firm bought the statue at auction for more than a million-dollars. The equestrian statue was donated to Black Jack’s Crossing Golf Course in Lajitas, near the Texas/Mexico border. It was installed last week.
