North Texas WW2 Vet Asks For Cards For His 100th Birthday

(Watauga, TX)  —  A World War 2 veteran from North Texas wants people to send him 100 birthday cards for his 100th birthday.

Jim South joined the Army in 1940 and was deployed to Europe a week after D-Day.  He’ll be 100 years old on October 7th, and he lives in a retirement community in Watauga, a suburb of Fort Worth.
