(Burleson, Tx) – A Burleson woman is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person who fatally shot her dog.

According to the Cleburne Times Review, Lena Leath, who lives on Todd Street near Cindy Park, said after watching a Cowboys game on Sunday September 22nd, she went in the backyard around 6:30pm and found her dog Ky laying on the ground and he wouldn’t get up and come in.  A Vet found Ky had been shot with lead pellets in the hind leg and near his tail.  The 6-year-old Irish Setter later died from his wounds.  A $2000 reward is being offered in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Burleson Police.  A GoFundMe account “Justice For Ky” has been set up for donations to add to the reward money.
