(Fort Worth, Tx) – Fort Worth firefighters were on the scene of an early morning 2 alarm apartment fire in Southwest Fort Worth.

Six units of the Dixon apartments on Via Vilani near the Chisolm Trail Parkway and Hulen Street were damaged.  The Fire Department says 20 people were displaced by the fire that was contained to the attic portion of the building.  No one was injured.

Firefighters did save a cat caught in the burning building who has been reunited with its owner.
