(Stephenville, Tx) – Stephenville police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman, they say shot her ex-boyfriend in the abdomen and then took off.

The suspect, 23-year-old Rachel Marie Tuggle is wanted for the shooting of her 28-year-old ex-boyfriend, Matthew Thomas Anderson, during a domestic dispute at the Bluebonnet Apartments in Stephenville.  Investigators say Tuggle is a student at Tarleton State University and lives in the apartment where the shooting took place last Thursday morning.

Stephenville Police tell the Empire Tribune, they don’t know yet what the argument was about, only that Tuggle reportedly shot Anderson when he came out of one of the rooms.  He remains in the hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Police say Tuggle may be in the Granbury area.  Erath County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information on her whereabouts.
