(Keene, Tx) – A Keene school district administrator is being called a hero after saving a baby from drowning in a pool.

Keene Athletic Director Jason Hill was hosting a birthday party for his youngest daughter at the DeCordova Bend Estates Country Club in Granbury when a golf cart carrying a family friend’s 5-week-old baby, 2-year-old child and their grandmother accidentally fell into the pool. According to the Cleburne Times Review, Hill said the 2-year-old punched the gas pedal running the cart through the gate and into the deep end of the pool.

Hill said his instincts kicked and he jumped into the water and pulled everyone out.  Paramedics were called in to check the baby and everyone was ok.
