Baby Born In Laundry Room In Rowlett During Tornado

(Rowlett, TX) — Not only were there no deaths reported in North Texas during Sunday’s tornado, the population of the area went up by one.

A baby girl was born during the storm at the Bump Birthing Center in Rowlett. Tornado sirens were sounding off and the staff had taken cover in the laundry room, where the baby was delivered by candlelight.

No word yet on what the girl’s name will be.
