(Fort Worth, TX) — Several North Texas counties are among more than two-dozen counties that got a letter from several liberal groups urging them to switch to different voting machines before next year’s elections.

The ACLU of Texas, Public Citizen, and Protect Democracy are asking 29 counties to change over to systems that print out a paper record of every vote in case of a computer glitch.

Hood, Palo Pinto and Wise counties are among those that got the letter from the groups.
