Midlothian Student Escapes Attempted Kidnapping

(Midlothian, TX) — Midlothian police are investigating after a Walnut Grove Middle School student says she escaped an attempted abductor by kicking him in the groin.

She was walking home on Thursday afternoon in the Kensington subdivision when somebody grabbed her from behind.  She says the suspect wore a dark hoodie and got out of a black pickup truck before approaching her.  The girl says she kicked backwards, and the suspect let her go.  She ran back to the school, and the assistant principal called police.

So far, no suspect has been found.
