(Weatherford, Tx) – The Parker County Sheriff’s Office says an anonymous tip from a concerned citizen about a possible drug house in Millsap led to the bust of an illegal drug trafficking operation.

A total of five people, three women and two men were arrested at various locations, including a police chase off Hwy. 51 South in Weatherford where the fleeing suspect crashed and ran off but was caught a short time later.  Federal Agents confiscated of $17,000 in cash and 7 ounces of Methamphetamine with a street value of $9,500 from a home in Forrest Hills.  Investigators say the suspects were transporting methamphetamine from Tarrant County to Parker and Palo Pinto Counties.

The case was turned over to the DEA and FBI, who will continue the investigation on a federal level.
