(Fort Worth, TX) — A family court hearing for Josh Hamilton is being rescheduled until next year.
A Tarrant County judge made the decision Thursday without comment on the issue. The Texas Rangers Hall of Fame member is accused of injuring his 14-year-old daughter in late September. His Ex-wife Katie Hamilton says she attempted to get a protective order for the girl against Josh Hamilton last month. Hamilton turned himself into the Tarrant County Jail earlier this week and was released on $35,000 bond.
His attorney released a statement saying, “Mr. Hamilton is innocent of the charge against him and looks forward to clearing his name in court.” For the time being, a temporary court order prevents Hamilton from seeing his three daughters for the rest of the year.
