Black Cat Delays Monday Night Football Game

(East Rutherford, NJ) — The New York Giants Monday Night football game against the Dallas Cowboys was briefly delayed when a black cat scampered onto the turf at Metlife Stadium.

The feline raced around the field for a couple minutes, prompting referees to temporarily stop play while stadium workers and New Jersey state troopers worked to corral the cat off the field.

The furry friend eventually made its way out through the stadium tunnel, igniting a loud cheer from the crowd. The Cowboys went on the win the game 37 – 18.
