(Granbury, Tx) – One lucky Granbury student will drive away with a new car at the end of the school year.

For the third year in a row, one Granbury High School student will win a new car for perfect attendance.  The school district says Granbury High School and Granbury Nissan have partnered with Strive to Drive TX, to provide a free 2018 Nissan Sentra to one student with an excellent attendance record throughout the year.  Students will earn one ticket for each six weeks period with perfect attendance, five extra tickets for a perfect semester and 10 extra tickets for a perfect year.

In May, ten finalists will be drawn from each ticket, and each finalist will receive a key.  One of those keys will start the car.

Last year more than 1,300 students qualified for the drawing.
