Fort Worth Names New Diversity And Inclusion Director

(Fort Worth, TX) — Christina Brooks is the director of Fort Worth’s new Diversity and Inclusion Department.

Brooks says one of her jobs is to mend relations between the police and the public. Recent events, such the fatal police shooting of Atatiana Jefferson in her own home, have led to protests and demands for transparency and police reform.

Brooks, who is originally from Texas, has held a similar position in South Bend, Indiana. She starts her new job on December 9th.
