(Fort Worth, TX) —  The Fort Worth City Council wants to talk about changing the fees for parking meters in the popular shopping and dining area of the Entertainment District.

The city installed the meters in August to keep people from tying up a parking spot all day long in the West 7th Urban Village.  Many local business owners say the parking meters chased customers away.

City Council is considering a plan to offer free parking in metered spaces for the first two hours between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
