(Mansfield, TX) — The Mansfield ISD school board is naming the sole finalist in its search for a new superintendent.

The school district’s website announced on Tuesday that Dr. Kimberley Cantu is the unanimous choice to be the district’s next leader.  Dr. Cantu is the district’s deputy superintendent and has been a public educator for 27 years.

State law says the school board has to wait three-weeks before it can offer her a contract.
