Navy Vet's Body Found In Apartment Three Years After Death

(DeSoto, TX) — A medical examiner is reporting that a man whose body was found in his DeSoto apartment last week had been dead for about three years.

Ronald White was 51 when he died, and his family wondered what had become of him. Police told them that the Navy veteran, who traveled worldwide for his job with a defense contractor, couldn’t be considered a missing person. Management at DeSoto Town Center Apartments on East Pleasant Run Road found White dead on the kitchen floor.

His rent had been paid by a monthly automatic withdrawal. Police say there’s no evidence of foul play in White’s death.
