Women Arrested In Waco Now Accused In Plano Murder

(Waco, TX) — Two women are now accused of capital murder in connection with the deaths of a Plano couple.

Cynthia Wingate and Carmen Moreno were arrested earlier this week following a traffic stop near Waco. McLennan County Sheriff’s deputies say the pair were driving the vehicles belonging to Theresa Coomes and Jimmy Farris. A bloody knife was also in the vehicle and Plano police later found the victims’ bodies.

Wingate and Moreno are being held on $750,000 bond each.
