(Dallas, TX) — Expect crowded highways all across Texas as Triple-A expects a record 3.8 million drivers to hit the road this Thanksgiving.
Wednesday is expected to be the busiest travel day over the five days through the holiday weekend. As for those flying to their Turkey dinner, delays are expected at Dallas-Fort Worth and airports across the country due to severe weather and the increased number of travelers.
Triple-A expects gas prices will be fairly similar to last year’s prices, which averaged $2.57. Rental car prices have reached their highest on record at about $75 per-day.
