(Stephenville, Tx) – Stephenville Police are looking for a man they say made off with women’s underwear from the laundry room at Creekside Townhomes.

According to the Stephenville Empire Tribune, women washing their clothes in the laundry room began noticing their underwear was disappearing.  Police say a security camera caught the alleged thief in action more than once.  On the video, he can be seen pulling the underwear out of the dryers to sniff it.   In all, he got away with 15 pairs from two victims who reported the incident to police.

Investigators say it is an unusual case and that the man doesn’t appear to be a resident of Creekside Townhomes.  Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Erath County Crime Stoppers at 254-965-CASH.
