Wise County Man Dies After Fall While Hanging Christmas Lights

(Rhome, TX) — A Wise County man is dead after taking a fall on Saturday while hanging Christmas lights for a customer in Rhome.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner says 39-year-old Felipe Gallegos suffered skull and chest fractures when he fell off a roof while putting up Christmas lights. Gallegos and his wife owned a business that put up Christmas lights and washed windows. He died later on Saturday at Medical City Denton.

Gallegos is survived by his wife and their 17-year-old son.
