(Granbury, Tx) – The case of a missing Hood County woman may be solved.

The Hood County News reports 59 year old Edward Pautenis was arrested Wednesday in Granbury and charged with murdering his wife, Jennifer Pautenis.  Human remains, possibly of Pautenis, were being recovered Wednesday at an undisclosed location, according to the Hood County Sheriff’s Office.  The 29 year old mother of two was last seen over six weeks ago when her husband said she left their Nassau Bay II home with another man.

A vigil for Jennifer Pautenis is planned for 5:00 tonight at Granbury Park.
