Fort Worth Water Customer Information May Have Been Exposed

(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth Water Department officials are looking into a possible data breach.

The department says the credit card information of around three-thousand customers may have been exposed this summer. It specifically involves people who paid their bills online but not those set up for automatic payments.

Potentially affected customers will receive a letter and an offer to free credit monitoring for a year.
