(Burleson, Tx) – Two Fort Worth women and an Arlington man have been taken into custody for allegedly tasing and then robbing a 71-year-old woman in a Burleson shopping center parking lot last month.

Burleson Police identified the suspects as Nakayla Wright, Traci Cahill and Jason Simmons.  Police say the victim and her 5-year-old granddaughter had just parked in front of a store in the Gateway Station Plaza and as she was getting out of her car, a woman walked up, shocked her with a stun gun and took her purse.  The suspects took off in a nearby SUV and later used the victim’s credit cards at locations in Mansfield and Arlington.

The trio has been charged with aggravated robbery and credit card/debit card abuse of the elderly.
