Hospital Faces Blood Shortage

(Dallas, TX)  —  Hospitals in North Texas are facing a blood shortage.

Hospitals need a thousand donations a day to make up the shortage according to Carter BloodCare.  Hospitals in the area give from 600 to 800 blood transfusions to people who need it such people undergoing chemotherapy.

Those who want to donate can go to carter-blood-care-dot-org to make an appointment.
