(Fort Worth, TX) —  A ten-month-old girl will stay on life support in a Fort Worth hospital at least through the start of next month.

A judge on Thursday extended a temporary restraining order against disconnecting her until January 2nd.  Tinslee Lewis’s family says she still has a chance at life, but doctors at Cook Children’s Hospital say the baby is suffering and will never get better.  She was born with a rare heart defect and has lung problems as well.

The doctors say almost 20 other hospitals agree with them and will not accept transfer of the baby.
