MedStar Acquires Emergency Kits In Case Of Mass Shootings In Fort Worth

(Fort Worth, TX) — Hundreds of kits that can be used in case of a mass shooting or other disaster are being made available in Fort Worth.

MedStar Mobile Healthcare obtained the kits, which any bystander who follows the instructions can reportedly use to stop bleeding. A ten-thousand-dollar grant from the North Texas Regional Trauma Advisory Council enabled MedStar to acquire eight duffel bags, each containing 40 “Stop the Bleed” kits.

The kits will be placed at large events and crowded venues all around Fort Worth.
