(Fort Worth, TX) — Hulen Mall in Fort Worth is open for business as usual today after a false alarm about a shooter on Thursday night.
Police say the trouble started with a disturbance in the food court involving a large group of young people. Some teens reportedly knocked over a store display on purpose, and it made a loud noise that was mistaken for a gunshot. A panic resulted, and police were called to deal with a shooter.
Officers locked down the mall and did a security sweep, but found no evidence that shots had been fired.
