(Frisco, TX) — Mike McCarthy will be the next head coach of the Cowboys.
The former Packers head coach will replace Jason Garrett, who did not have his contract renewed after an 8-and-8 season. It is reportedly a five-year contract, no word yet on the money part.
McCarthy coached Green Bay for 13 years, including nine playoff berths and winning the 2011 Super Bowl at the Cowboys stadium.
