(Canton, OH) – Ex-Dallas Cowboys safety Cliff Harris will join Coach Jimmy Johnson in the 2020 Hall of Fame class celebrating the NFL’s 100th season.
Harris was know as one of the hardest-hitting defensive backs in the NFL and a big part of the Doomsday Defense of the 1970s. Harris made three All-Pro teams and six Pro Bowls. He played in seven conference title games and five Super Bowls, winning two.
Sadly, Harris’ former teammate Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Drew Pearson, the original 88, did not make the cut.
