(Fort Worth, TX) — The National Weather Service in Fort Worth is confirming that four tornadoes hit North Texas during Friday night’s storms.
The agency stated on Tuesday that the tornadoes happened between 5:41 and 6:44 p.m. across three counties. An EF-1 tornado touched down in Johnson County, an EF-0 struck Irving in Dallas County and two EF-0 twisters hit Delta County.
In Johnson County, a house in Burleson was destroyed by fire that officials say was probably caused by lightning during the storm.
