(Dallas, TX) — Drew Pearson says his heart was broken after not being nominated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The former Cowboys wide receiver expressed his frustration this morning following the NFL’s announcement of an expanded 2020 class. Pearson was surrounded by friends and family when the announcement was made. Former teammate Cliff Harris was named to the Hall of Fame with Pearson saying the induction “almost makes it all right.”
Pearson is the only member of the NFL’s All-Decade Team for the 1970s on offense to not be in Canton.
