Overcrowded Fort Worth Animal Shelter Offers $10 Adoptions

(Fort Worth, TX) — The overcrowded Fort Worth Animal Shelter is offering $10 adoption prices for all animals in order to free up some space.

The shelter has taken in more than 600 animals just this month, a much higher number than usual. The shelter is having a difficult time finding homes for larger and older dogs.

The normal adoption rates are $25 for cats and $49 for dogs. Even at $10, the animals are already spayed, neutered and vaccinated.
