Gym Coach Charged For Sexual Assault Of Minors

(Fort Worth, TX) — A former Fort Worth gym coach is being handed a 50-year prison sentence for the aggravated sexual assault of a minor.

Skipper Glenn Crawley was charged with abusing eleven female gymnasts during his career as a coach in both Texas and Oklahoma, where he was an assistant gymnastics coach at the University of Oklahoma. Recently Crawley had been working as a trainer at a 24 Hour Fitness in North Richland Hills. The abuse happened in the ’90s, and some of his victims were reportedly as young as eight years old.

The 53-year-old initially fled after being charged but was caught in Indiana.
