(Mineral Wells, Tx) – With his mayoral term ending in a little more than three months, Mineral Wells Mayor Christopher Perricone has offered to step down early on one condition.

According to the Mineral Wells Index, that condition is Perricone wants proof that multiple versions of a 2016 tax abatement agreement involving a proposed $15 million ammo manufacturing plant, publicly approved by local taxing entities, are not false documents.

Perricone is one of four candidates seeking the Republican nomination to the Texas House District 60 seat on the March primary ballot.
