(Joshua, Tx) – The Joshua community is mourning the loss of a local bull rider, who died doing what he loved.
19-year-old Chase Bishop was training at a ranch in Stephenville last Thursday when he was thrown from a bull and critically injured. He was airlifted to a Fort Worth hospital where he died the next day from his injuries. Earlier this month, the Joshua teen won the Cowtown Coliseum Championship at the Fort Worth Stockyards. About 1,000 people attended a memorial for the young bull rider last Sunday at Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church in Alvarado.
