(Fort Worth, TX) — Residents of Heritage Trace and other neighborhoods in North Fort Worth are reporting coyotes on the prowl.
City Council member Cary Moon, who represents that part of town, says the cold weather flushes the animals out because they’re hungry. Fort Worth City Animal Care and Control is telling residents to make sure their garbage can lids are secure and bring pet food indoors in order to keep from attracting coyotes.
And keep an eye on small pets.
