(Fort Worth, TX) — Two North Texas universities are teaming up with a Fort Worth hospital to address the shortage of doctors in the city.
Texas Christian University and the University of North Texas will work with Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center to start a physician residency program. The schools and the hospital made the announcement Wednesday.
The program will start out with about two-dozen residency positions, then expand until more than 150 new doctors a year are training at the hospital.
