(Washington, DC) — Four North Texas men are under arrest on claims they attempted to sell Iranian oil to China.
Federal prosecutors say the men concocted the scheme last July which involved buying the oil and setting up a Polish shell corporation before the sale to China. Robert Thwaites, Nicholas Fuchs, Daniel Lane, and Bill Wang are all accused of conspiracy and violating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
A New York man is also under arrest in connection with the case.
