(Cleburne, Tx) – A Joshua man is in custody after allegedly shooting his friend with an AR-15 type firearm.

According to the Cleburne Times Review, Police were called to a Valero gas station on South Broadway St. in Cleburne where they met with the victim who said he’d been shot by his friend, Michael Thomas Armstrong.  The man told police Armstrong was mad because he left him at Walmart and he had to walk home.  The victim said he was standing outside their home on Conveyor Drive when Armstrong shot him multiple times.

Armstrong was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Johnson County Jail where he’s since been released on $200,000 bond.
