(Fort Worth, TX) —  A former quarterback for TCU and the Seattle Seahawks is off to prison for three-years for aggravated assault and witness tampering.

Police arrested Trevone Boykin two years ago at his home in Mansfield on a charge of beating his ex-girlfriend.  Boykin entered a guilty plea on Wednesday to the charges of aggravated assault and witness tampering, plus two charges of theft.  He’ll do three years in prison for assault and tampering, and six-months in Tarrant County Jail for theft.
