(Glen Rose, Tx) – Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in Glen Rose is looking to hire extra people for Spring outage work starting in March and April.

A job fair will take place Friday from 8a-4p at the Granbury Convention Center.  Organizers of the hiring event say they’re looking for laborers, Firewatch, helpers and several skilled craft positions such as electrician and pipe fitters.  Not all jobs require experience, however the skilled craft jobs do require at least 3 years industrial experience.

Job seekers need to bring a current resume and a valid government issued ID.  Applicants must be able to pass a nuclear background check and drug test.  Military Veterans are encouraged to attend.
