The new Camaro already paying dividends for the Chevy camp. Alex Bowman drove away from the field in the final stage to win by nearly nine seconds at Auto Club Speedway. Bowman led a race high 110 laps in earning his second career win. Chevrolets grabbing three of the top four spots with Kurt Busch coming home third and Chase Elliott fourth. Kyle Busch able to finish second in his Toyota. Three races into the season and each of the three manufacturers have one win. However the Toyotas are not having great overall results with Denny Hamlin the only driver who’s top ten in points.
