(Cleburne, Tx) – School officials in Johnson County say they are doing everything they can to educate their students and staff on the Coronavirus and how to protect themselves against germs.

Cleburne ISD Community Relations Director Lisa Magers said the health and safety of students is a top priority of the school district.  Magers tells the Cleburne Times Review “Cleburne ISD and the school nursing staff work closely with the Texas Department of State Health Services whenever issues arise that could impact or affect the health of students,” Magers adds the district is in the process of adding information about the virus on its website on the Health Services page under Parent Resources.

Other districts in the county…Alvarado, Godley, Grandview, Joshua, Rio Vista and Venus all say they are monitoring the situation through county and state resources, while practicing preventative measures like handwashing and hand sanitizer.
