(Fort Worth, TX) — The search is on for a hit-and-run driver accused of killing a child in Fort Worth.
Police say it happened near the 36-hundred block of Wichita Street just after 10:15 Tuesday night. Police say the 7-year-old boy identified as Nelson Morales, was in the crosswalk when a vehicle hit him. His family says the Oaklawn Elementary student was playing tag with his cousins at the time. Police are looking for a silver or gray Toyota SUV. The driver could be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
