(Granbury, Tx) – Four couples from Hood County are among the passengers stuck on the Grand Princess cruise ship quarantined off the coast of California.

One of the Hood County passengers, Kathleen Reed, tells the Hood County News that they are all alright.  So far, 21 people on board have tested positive for the Coronavirus, 19 of those were crew members.  The cruise liner is expected to dock today in Oakland, where all 3,500 of its passengers will be tested and quarantined at government facilities.

Governor Greg Abbot says about 90 Texans are on board and will be sent to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio for the 14-day quarantine.
