Report: Cowboys Offer New Contract To Prescott

(Frisco, TX) — It appears the Cowboys are doing all they can to avoid using the franchise tag on Dak Prescott.

A source tells ESPN the team sent Prescott’s camp a new contract proposal Monday. Details were not released but there are reports the proposal contains at least 100-million dollars in guaranteed cash.

Dallas is planning to put the franchise tag on Prescott later this week if they can’t reach a new contract agreement.
