(Weatherford, Tx) – 60 dogs were seized from a Parker County home after the owner was found dead.

Animal control officers and staff from the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter picked up 60 Chihuahuas from a home in Horseshoe Bend last Saturday.  Animal Control tells the Weatherford Democrat “Initially the report was 10 dogs with a deceased person inside the home. We got there and I quickly realized, once I got inside and saw the scene, we had more than 10,” and that “The condition of the home was just deplorable. You could not see the floor…”.
