Meals On Wheels Continues Deliveries During Outbreak

(Dallas, TX) — Meals on Wheels is still making food deliveries to the needy while trying to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The organization is following procedures similar to those it uses in a bad flu season. Its workers and volunteers are screened for the virus, along with the people who receive meals.

Volunteers knock on the door, hand off the food, and leave with no contact between the volunteer and the recipient.
